A citizen of the united states, and a resiednt of the city of new york, borough of brooklyn, in the county of kings and state of new york, have invented a new and improved diver's suit. In 1921, a patent was issued ot harry houdini for his invention of the houdini diver suit.
The improved construction was the result of houdini's numerous experiences while attempting to perform underwater escapes. The object of his invention was to allow a person, in case of emergency, to quickly remove the diver's suit thus enabling a person to safely escape and erach the surface of the water unimpaired. The drawing and specification sheet(s) are printed onto premium, acid-free, lignin-free parchment paper which reproduces the authentic look and feel of the original document.
