Carter Original Beats The Devil Window Card Circa 1926Otis lithograph company, cleveland, ohio. Window card, 22 x 14. Still a very sharp & crisp stone lithographic image, appears to have esen minimal display if any since having been put in storage around 1936 upon carter's death. Displays the normal wear associated with a stored & stacked print of this era as displayed along the printed bottom red border of the poster. (1874 1936) was one of the greatest and most successful american magicians of the early 20th century. He completed seven world tours, and died in bombay, india, during his eighth tour.
