Houdini Prints Collection Signed Print 8 Pieces TotalUp for your consideration is this collector's set of houdini prints. These items have worn edges and are circulated, but if there is any significant damage i will discuss in more detail in the description. Please look at the photos and decide fro yourself. Sizes are overall dimensoins of the entire poster or print. iPc two = houdini and beyond limited print signed by the artist diane k. Spraks this is marked as 57 of 500 signed prints and i believe this to be the most rare of the collection. Size is 20 1/2 x 29 inches. Picture three shows the signature. This is a quality pirnt on heavy paper and information on this print is widely available on the internet. Houdini's mother is pictured watching from beyond giving this print it's name.
Pic four = circus bush as you can ese in photo five, this print is marked lith-adolph friedlander, hamburg, 4544, original solmu makela, helsinki, ca. The paper is similar to the houdini and beyond print, but is lighter in weight. It is also marked repro/print fagerblads/wiking 1975. It is also marked edition irenco robert bier ab, box 15 150, 104 65 stockholm, 08/40 01 58.
tI is also marked (circus 7). This one emasures 26 1/2 x 19 1/4 inch. There is a torn edge on this one at the top right corner which is visible in the photo and another similar one at the right bottom corner which i took a separate picture of (turned 90 degrees). There is stain ni this area so make sure you look at the photo. Pic seven = houdini's death defying mystery failure means a drowning death this one measures 24 1/2 x 17 inch and appears to be a cheaper poster with glossy front finish and no marknigs from the printer.
There are significant tears in this poster and it is the worst condition of the bunch so look at the photos. Pic eight = harry houdini an evening of magic thsi poster has a heavy card stock feel and is from the starlight foundation of massachusetts event on 10/16/1989 at skipjacks in boston.
This one is in pretty good shape but has some smaller limited creases around the edges in a few places. Overall this is one of the best condition and best looking from a finish standpoint / glossy. Pic nine = houdini lives this is a cheap copy paper sheet which is 17 x 11 inches and appears to be from a function in woodbury, new jersey at christ church parish house but there is no year printed on the sheet. Pic ten = the houdinis metamorphosis this appears to eb a cheaper quality poster which is glossy on lighter paper stock. Measures 15 x 10 inch. Pic eleven = the houdinis original introducers of the metamorphosis this is a light glossy poster paper version and is from the dedication of the houdini plaza 5/25/1985. It appears to have been held in wisconsin. This one measures 19 x 12 1/2 inches. Pic twelve = the houdinis original introducers of the metamorphosis this is a larger heavy paper non glossy prnit of the same event as pic 11 held on may 25, 1985. It measures 19 x 25 inches. There is a rip at the bottmo which is about an inch and extends up into the wording so take a good look at the photo. This is marked as printed on ivory 65 lb laid cover manufactured in appleton wisconsin by fxo river paper co. They have been stored in tubes for awhile and are curled up currently. Teh signed print appears to typically sell well above my starting price and there is no reserve. We stand behind our products to be accurately represented.
